Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have time for this?

Making time for your health is always important. We understand how busy our lives can get. That is why we design treatment plans that work best for your condition and schedule.

Does acupuncture hurt?

Acupuncture is virtually painless. Our acupuncture expertise makes the application process gentle and easy, with many patients finding their treatment to be relaxing.

The needles are very thin, as thin as most strands of hair! They also round at the tip, meaning they do not puncture the skin abrasively. All of our needles are also disposable, ensuring the most hygienic experience.

How long is each session?

Treatment time varies per patient. The initial consultation is usually an hour and a half, which includes one treatment. All subsequent appointments range from 60 to 90 minutes.

How many sessions do I need?

Your body’s needs are unique. This is why the amount of sessions varies per individual. Acupuncture is a progressive treatment, though. Over time, the length between your sessions can increase.

How much does it cost?

The first consultation with us is $225. All subsequent appointments are $108. We also offer packages based on individual treatment plans. Please contact our office to discover more details on our packages.

Which payment methods do you take?

We accept cash, FSA cards and most major credit cards.

Do you accept insurance?

We do accept insurance. However, this varies on your insurance plan and individual policies. We advise patients to check their policy first. In addition, we can verify your insurance to see if your treatment is covered under your plan. Please fill out this form so that our office can verify your insurance prior to your visit.

Why is our treatment different?

Our treatment focuses on you. We blend ancient eastern medicine practices, modern techniques, and a contemporary treatment style to create meaningful treatment pathways. Our acupuncture, conscious connected breathing, and ontological coaching expertise create a customized treatment approach, helping you to achieve balance in your life.
